He West Ham United just updated the health status of Michael Antoniowho had a traffic accident this Saturday and had to be admitted to a London hospital.
The London club, led by Spaniards Julen Lopeteguiconfirmed that the 34-year-old player “underwent surgery following a fracture in the lower body” and that he will remain “under hospital supervision for the next few days.”

“Everyone at the club wishes a speedy recovery for Michail and expresses our deep gratitude to the football family for their support following yesterday’s news, as well as thanks to the emergency services and the quick who treated Michail immediately after the accident, as well as the medical team that continues to work together for his recovery,” added West Ham in an official statement released this Sunday afternoon concluding by announcing that “it will continue to provide updates on the matter in due course.”
