LIV Golf announced the cast of 93 players for its second Promotion event, which will be will be held from Thursday to Saturday at the Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.
South Africa Branden Grace is the most recognizable nameand will try to re-qualify for the league after its relegation at the end of 2024. In the first round, 64 players will play 18 holes of stroke play, and the top 20, including ties, will advance to the second round. They will be joined by 29 self-qualifiers, scores will be reset and, after another 18 holes of stroke play, the top 20 after the playoffs will advance on Saturday.
Once the scores are settled on Friday, the final day will consist of 36 holes of stroke play for those 20 golfers. The winner will receive $200,000 and qualify for the 2025 LIV Golf season.
Besides, The top 10 finishers, including ties, will be completely disqualified from the 2025 International Series sanctioned by the Asian Tour.
