The winner of the quarterfinal matchup in between Italy and Germany will host the final stage of the current edition of the Nations League, according to a decision announced this Monday by UEFA after a meeting of its executive committee in Lausanne (Switzerland).
If Germany wins, Stuttgart and Munich will host the two semifinals and the final of the fourth edition of the tournament, while the Juventus and Torino stadiums in the city of Turin will be the venues if the transalpine squad wins.
The UEFA previously announced that it would select two countries to face off in the quarterfinals, which will be held in March, to ensure that one of the teams plays itself.
The other quarter-final ties, over two legs, are between the Netherlands against Spain, Denmark against Portugal and France against Croatia.
Spain is the current champion of a tournament won by Portugal in its first edition and France in the second.
