He Villarreal CF approved this Monday a budget for the 24-25 season of more than 143 million euros at the Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting held in José Manuel Llaneza Sports City and where it reported a loss of 14 million in the 23-24 campaign.
With the help of 98.82% of the club’s social capital, the club led by Fernando Roig has announced a specific budget of 143,373,000 euros for the current season and has a forecast of zero euros in revenues as income and expense items are exact.
Regarding the previous season, Villarreal reported that it had an income of 162,760,000 euros and expenses of 178,780.00 euros, representing a losses close to 14 million euros.
This season Villarreal only disputes LaLiga and the King’s Cup, from where it has been eliminated, as it did not qualify to compete in European competition, an event that the club had already warned last summer would mean a containment of the budget for this season.
