He Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE) and the Capgemini Foundation has announced the signing an agreement to develop innovation and digital programs and projects powered by technology and personalized for Paralympic athletes. The goal of both organizations is to enhance the inclusion, diversity and competitiveness of Paralympic athletes and their ecosystem, and build a legacy that benefits current CPE members and future generations.
The Capgemini Foundation will support the Spanish Paralympic Committee on its path to innovation and help it achieve its goal of addressing the great challenge of reducing the barriers faced by people with disabilities, both in sport and in society. In addition, it will be responsible for the coordination and management of all global aspects necessary to guarantee the correct implementation of the projects, while providing technological know-how by mobilizing its volunteers to offer the best solution to athletes.
Currently, the Capgemini Foundation is engaged in a first test project, evaluating and validating various technological platforms that have the potential to improve the sporting and personal performance of athletes with disabilities related to their specific environments. This process is very important to tailor the chosen platform to the end user and properly implement all its unique features. This platform will manage the data of all the athletes of the Spanish Paralympic Committee.
