The Romanian Dan Sucu, owner of Rapid Bucharest, This Wednesday he became the new majority shareholder of Genoa, the oldest club in Italy, by buying 77% of the shares.
“Génova announced that the Romanian businessman Dan Șucu became the majority owner of the club. With this acquisition, approved by the Board of Directors after a capital increase of 45 million euros last weekend, Șucu takes approximately 77% of Genoa’s share capital,” the club reported in an official statement.
Until now, Genoa is owned by the American fund and by The CEO of the club is the Spaniard Andrés Blazquezwhich announced a few weeks ago that all of the club’s investment funds were being sold.
