The extraordinary meeting of the body chaired by Rubiales endorsed the accounts endorsed by a favorable audit report

The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Spanish Football Federation approved this Tuesday with an absolute majority (93% support) the accounts for the 2021 financial year, which closed with a surplus of 32.8 million euros. The application of this result, proposed by the board of directors of the body chaired by Luis Rubiales, was also approved: allocate this payment to the social fund, which will receive EUR 2,814,871, and to the new emergency fund, to which 30 million will be spent injected from euros.

The accounts had already been elaborated in detail in the meeting of 30 May, but had not yet been approved pending the audit report. Once received, this audit report does not contain any qualification or emphasis either with respect to the 2021 balance sheet or with regard to the other aspects included: the income statement, statement of changes in equity, statement of cash flows , and the liquidation of the income and expenditure budget relating exclusively to the 2021 financial year.

In this extraordinary call, most of the 99 people who attended the meeting did so electronically, in connection with the auditorium Luis Aragonés of the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas. IRubiales has personally chaired the presidency, along with his vice president, Pedro Rocha, Andreu Camps, general secretary, and the treasurer Eduardo Bandrés.
