Lluís Torrentgeneral director of PANINI in Spain SA, and Beatriz Alvarez president of Liga F, presented the Official 2024/2025 Sticker Collection in Madrid, in an event attended by representatives of the Association’s clubs and the players Lice Chamorro, from RCD Espanyol, Ivonne Chacón, Levante UD and Andreia Jacinto, from the Royal Society. They all star on this season’s album cover.
The third edition of the League F Card Collection, which is now sold in kiosks, authorized points of sale and online on the official PANINI website, has many new features for collectors, because, in addition to the individual card of footballers, coaches and statistical data, has five series of special cards: FOCUS, which gathers the important moments of the season; FANTASY, soccer players with magic in their boots; FANTASTIC, featuring the fittest goalkeepers; GOAL FACTOR: the footballers who maintain a permanent love affair with the goal, and FRESH, the youngest promise to explode into League F with force.
During the event, hosted by content creator and presenter Carolina Iglesias, the president of Liga F, Beatriz Álvarez, was in charge of welcoming the attendees and thanked PANINI for “its trust because this third edition reinforcing its commitment to women’s soccer. The great demand we have on social networks for this collection invites us to think that it is a joint project, which continues to bring soccer players closer to sticker collectors and fans of women’s soccer, big and small, to continue building references and continue to grow. Each sticker is a recognition of the effort, dedication and passion of our soccer players and another step towards the equality and recognition they deserve.”
For his part, Lluís Torrent commented: “League F was a pioneer in the world of collectibles about a local women’s championship, and paved the way for leagues in other countries such as England, Germany or Italy. At PANINI we are committed to combining evolution, visibility and growth at all levels in the F League collection This season, PANINI has used a lot of editorial effort to make a collection as complete and attractive as possible . We have increased the number of cards to a total of 429 different cards, more special series and more exclusive cards.”
In addition, the players are also excited to appear on the album cover. “In Colombia there is no PANINI. It’s exciting to be on the cover and I’m very happy,” confessed Ivonne Chacón, Levante UD soccer player. For her part, Andreia Jacinto, a Real Sociedad player, was quick to add: “I really liked these collections. My father bought me cards. It’s a great gift and for the girls to meet players who will be future references. Finally, RCD Espanyol forward Lice Chamorro said: “Since I was young I dreamed of playing football, but I never thought of being a cover girl. “Having references is very important.”
Exactly, the three players already made the collection last season. Lice Chamorro completed the album, although it was difficult for him. “I had to steal a classmate from Kudananji, who was the last one I had left.” For his part, midfielder Andreia Jacinto joked with the player on his team’s roster that he would finish the collection. “We will both open the envelopes, but the first to complete it will be Lucía Pardo.” Where, and with the idea of finishing the collection this year, Ivonne Chacón concluded: “Last season I brought my album to my younger sister, but I could not complete it.”
Before ending the event and as is tradition, Lluís Torrent gave the footballers their personalized life-size cards to thank them for their cooperation and presence in the event.
