The RCD footballer Mallorca Martin Valjent renews until 2029 and in this way closes the doubts that exist in the environment about his immediate future on the island, since his contract will expire at the end of the current campaign.
As announced this Thursday by the Balearic club, the defender has extended his relationship including an island he reached in 2018 and he will close his new contract at the age of 33, if he fulfills it in full, establishing himself as one of the pillars of the defense in the project of Jagoba Arrasate.
The Slovakian arrived on loan when the vermilion entity achieved promotion from Second B to the Second Division and, a year later, he became the club’s property to defend the Majorcan jersey in the First (2019-2020).
Although the Balearic team fell again, Valjent experienced a new promotion and was one of the stars of the team that reached the Copa del Rey final last season, won by Athletic Bilbao, reaching 50 league points in the 2022-2023 season.
