Real Zaragoza-CD Tenerife: a classic to confirm the improvement of the insular team

In the last decade, since Zaragoza’s relegation in 2013, these teams They met regularly in the Second Division, with Tenerife achieving three wins and six losses in their 11 meetings. Highlights include Veljko Paunović’s hat-trick in 2003 and Omar Perdomo’s own goal in 2017.

Veljko Paunović: A hat trick in six minutes for history. In the 2002-2003 season, Serbian striker Veljko Paunović left his mark indelible to blue and white fans.
