David– Maximum effectiveness of Cornellà against a Girona that had many casualties and missed the clear chances. Roldán first missed the target in the 50th minute and eight minutes later it was 1-0 when Jaime took advantage of a dead ball in the area. The local team managed to extend their lead in the 70th minute with a shot from outside the area which the goalkeeper responded with an excellent save. Huesca-Spain 2-1
Jorge Serrano- Espanyol returned from Huesca empty-handed in a match that featured the referee, Gimeno Otal, disallowing a legal goal for the Parakeets and conceding one to the Huesca team that should not have been awarded. The Spaniard equalized the contest, but the referee pointed to a non-existent past foul on the goalkeeper.
