Decathlon Ford presents the most international team for 2025

Date:

Samuel Rocesgeneral manager of the Decathlon Ford team,

presented this week at a press conference in Girona The lineup with which it will face the world season in 2025:

● Savilia Blunk (USA): “When he joined our team at the beginning of the season

2023, he is ranked 41st in the UCI rankings. Today, he is one of the best athletes in the world and has competed in the Paris Olympics. Savilia was in the spotlight, but he decided to stay with us, and I’m very happy about that. On the 25th

year, we have much more to achieve together. With 7 World Cup podiums, he can aspire to great things.”

● Joshua Dubau (Fra): “He was one of the first riders who trusted us in 2022. Last year, he even extended his contract until 2026. With our first podium at the 2nd World Cup in Nove Mesto in 2023, he is an important part of our history. Joshua had a contrasting 2024 season, with a serious injury at the World Cup in Araxa, Brazil, keeping him out of the

competition for several months. Now that he’s up front, I know he’ll be eager to perform from the start of the season.”

● David’s List (Ale): “David had a great season in the World Cup, showing a lot of consistency in the most important races on the calendar. He wanted to join us, and we quickly proved our common ambition. He is young and I

convinced that there is much room for improvement. We will do everything we can to support you and help you take the next steps. I appreciate your trust and I believe we can achieve great things together

Samara Maxwell (NZ): “For Samara, the 2024 season, her first in the elite category, was a year of learning at the highest level. She achieved her first top ten in the World Cup and finished eighth in her first Olympic Games. The champion of Oceania and New Zealand are approaching the best.

The 2025 season should confirm his promotion to the highest level

Greta Seiwald (Ita): “When Greta joined us in 2023, it was her first experience abroad. She had to assimilate many things: a new environment, a new bike, a new coach. In 2024, she showed that all those changes were decisive, especially in finishing in the world top 10 at the Nove Mesto stage of the World Cup. This was also an important part of the group’s stability.

Team curiosities in 2025:

With five cyclists of different nationalities, the 2025 team is the most international since its creation, with representatives from France, the USA, Italy, New Zealand and, for the first time, Germany.

Among them is Joshua Dubau, who has been with the team since the beginning and is entering his fourth season with Decathlon.
