Italian winger Alessandro Florenzi, who was on loan from Roma last season, will remain in Milan for 31 years after signing a contract until June 30, 2025. Both clubs have announced the deal today.
Florenzi made 30 appearances for Milan last season, 24 of them in Serie A, and helped win the ‘scudetto’ by scoring two goals. Now the ‘rossonero’ club is paying approximately 2.7 million euros to get their rights.
Florenzi trained in Roma, the club in his hometown, and made his first-team debut in 2011. In total, he played 279 games and scored 28 goals for the ‘giallorosso’ club.
Florenzi’s last match for Roma was in January 2020 when they lost to Juventus in the Coppa Italia. He was then loaned to Valencia until the end of that season, PSG in 2020-2021 and Milan in 2021-2022.
Mirante renewed for 38 years
For its part, Milan also announced the renewal for one season, until 2023, of 38-year-old veteran goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.
