Franck Kessiea 25 -year -old Ivorian midfielder, is coming on Barca this week as one of 30 candidates for Africa’s Ballon d’Or for his performance in Milan during 2021-22. The 2022 CAF Awards Gala will be held on July 21 in Rabat (Morocco).
A panel composed of technical experts, legends CAF and the journalists decided to list in different categories taking into account the candidate’s performance at all levels between September 2021 and June 2022.
The winners in each category will be decided by a voting panel consisting of the CAF Technical Commission, media professionals, coaches and captains of member associations, as well as clubs participating in the group stage of inter-club competitions.
The former midfielder of Milan was only honored, moreover, by ‘Calcium Trade Ball’ as Africa’s best player in Serie A 2021-22. CTB is an annual event that celebrates the relationship between Ghana and Italian football.
