The current champion of Copa Libertadores, Botafogowill look for to add a new title to the showcases from the group stage, where it will be measured La Plata students, University of Chile and CaraboboAccording to a draw held Monday in the city of Paraguayan of Luque.

Botafogo, who defeated Atlético Mineiro in the final 2024 and crowned the first time as champion of Copa Libertadores, was the leader of Group A of the 66th edition.

Flamengo, winner of two Libertadores titles, filled the C key with the Quito League, which has been champion, Deportivo Táchira and Central Córdoba. The current champion of the South American Cup, Racing Club, will be measured in Group E with Colo Colo, Fortaleza and Atlético Bucaraamana.

Sao Paulo and Palmeiras, Libertadores’ tricampeones, lead group D and G, respectively. Thirty -the teams will play the stage of the Copa Libertadores group.

Twenty -eight are classified directly and four are derived from phase three. Teams that reach the first and second places at this stage will be passed directly by the 16th.

Thus the keys are formed:

Group A: BESFOGO (BRA), La Plata (ARG) students, University of Chile (Chi) and Carabobo (Ven).

Group B: River Plate (ARG), Independiente Del Valle (ECU), University (Per) and Barcelona (ECU).

Group C: Flamygo (BRA), University Sports League of Quito (ECU), Deportivo Táchira (Ven) and Central Córdoba (ARG).

Group D: São Paulo (Bra), Libertad (PAR), Workshops (ARG) and Alianza Five (per).

Group E: Racing Club (ARG), Colo Colo (CHI), Fortaleza (BRA) and Atlético Bucaraamana (Col).

Group F: National (URG), International (BRA), Atlético Nacional (COL) and Bahia (BRA).

Group G: Palmeiras (Bra), Bolívar (BOL), Sporting Cristal (Per) and Cerro Porteño (PAR). Group H: Peñarol (Uru), Olimpia (PAR), Vélez Sarsfield (ARG) and San Antonio (BOL).
