George ForemanOne of the biggest boxers in history, died this Friday at the age of 76, his family reported that there was a message on social networks.
“Our hearts were destroyed. With severe illness, we revealed the death of our beloved George Foreman Sr., who was left in peace on March 21, 2025 surrounded by their loved ones,” the reader reads.
Foreman is a champion at the Olympic and twice the heavyweight category.
“A devout preacher, a loyal wife, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great -grandfather, has lived a life marked by unshakable faith, humility and purpose,” his family wrote on his Instagram account.
“A humanitarian, an athlete of Olympic, and a double champion of the heavy world, is respected, a force for good, a discipline, convinced, a protector of his inheritance, who has never stopped fighting to defend his name, for his family,” he added.
The family of the legendary boxer emphasized that he is grateful for the support and love they receive from their loved ones and have been asked to respect their privacy.
The Foreman had a legendary boxing tour between the 60s and 90s, and became the opponent of historical against Muhammad Ali or Joe Frazier.
The Texan Boxer also hired the Gold Olympic in Mexico City 1968.
