Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini, as 6 of the WTA rank, announced Monday that she would not stay linked with her coach Renzo Furlan, where she competed during the last 10 years of her professional career.
“After 10 rare years together, I would like to thank Renzo Furlan for everything he has done for me,” Italy’s Tennis player told Instagram.
“Furlan has become a major part of my growth, as a player and as a person. Everything I have learned from him will always be with me and continue to guide me in the future, and will continue to be an important person in this new chapter.”
Paolini, 29, won under Furlan’s orders WTA 1,000 of Dubai and an individual finalist in Roland Garros and Wimbledon, as well as the Olympic double champion at the Olympic Games in Paris with Sara Errani.
