Real Madrid does not charge a transfer but 50% of any after-sales is guaranteed

It is official. As it was sung, Serbian striker Luka Jovic has ended his time at Real Madrid and is now a new Fiorentina player, both clubs announced late Friday afternoon. The striker, who played a residual role with the white team, is now embarking on a new adventure in which he hopes to use his virtues as a goalscorer in Italian football.

La Fiore takes care of the player file and there is no transfer as such between the two entities as the Balkan striker leaves for free. However, Real Madrid heals in health and 50% of any future sales of the player is guaranteed.

Jovic had a contract with Real Madrid until 2025, but he did not count for Carlo Ancelotti. He arrived at the merengue club in 2019, having paid 60 million plus five in variables to Eintracht Frankfurt, and was signed for six seasons. His transfer was estimated at 60 million plus five in variables. His performance was way below expectations. He has only played 1,500 minutes in which he has celebrated three white goals.
