Bohemians 1 Derry City 2: Complete a comeback Candystripes and top three times at the top

Date:

SMART TRAFFIC CLOCKS James Ackintonde and Ronan Boyce used their heads to sit in Derry City after a stunning return to the top.

Super Sub Akintunde beat the Bohemians with one final touch of the match, heading deep into the cross in the third minute of stoppage time.

And it was just a bonus to the captains, as coach Roeder Higgins felt the match was over after her return.

When Boyce tied himself up, to undo Liam Bert’s silk hatch, Higgins called Akintunde from his chair with a clear indication of their intentions.

And while Candystripes already had Bochs on the shelf at that point, James Talbot kicked guests out twice while trying to steal the Three Points.

Looks like Boch quickly became a lottery specialist as they were on their way to Season 5 – matching Dundalk – before Akintund stepped in.

And just as they did after the 1-1 draw with UCD, some Bohs fans mocked the final whistle for having only one win all season.

But it shouldn’t be like that, because their main focus was just acceptance – a team magic move completed by Liam Burt.

But he could, and should, have added a second reprieve and the Roma paid the price for this mistake.

Both teams will be back in action early next week, with Derry leaving for University College Dublin on Monday, while Bohi will visit Sligo Rovers on Tuesday.

And Roma fans now need not remember that their season needs a boost.

However, they liked what they saw until the end of the first half.

Both teams created many moments, but Roma starred when it mattered most when Bert broke the scoring in the 25th minute.

Ali Kot was the catalyst behind the fantastic team goal that Bert completed.

First, he traded one or two with Jordan Flores, who fed Burt. The winger quickly moved to Bert, who was playing in Prometheus Umoucher.

Slower derry movement speed.

Omuchiri made full contact with Kote, who was still playing the ball, shrugging his shoulders and changing direction, ran into the box and into the house.

Put three players covering the derby face down on the field on a path of destruction.

Tensions erupted after half the whistle when a clash erupted in midfield, although referee Adriano Real quickly calmed the matter down, who warned Joe Thompson.

Derry City goalkeeper Brian Maher scores his team’s second goal of the match

And Thompson’s night passed just 10 minutes into the second half when he was pulled for Matt Smith.

Patrick McKellen was actually brought in for a break when the Candystripes raised Ante and took home prizes.

Cameron Domigan’s deep cross on Dom is perfect for The Boys, who heads from close range on Talbot.

Both teams had a chance to win in the final rounds and Burt should have had it, but he didn’t realize how much time he had when Maher was sent off.

Akintund then showed how this is done with the final gameplay of the game in action, leading McClellan Cross, to bring out chaotic scenes from the traveling team and their fans.
