The Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit will host two official training sessions this Tuesday and Wednesday for the FIA Formula 3 World Championshipthe third international step for single-seater after Formula One and 2.
In these exams, which will be second for the category after those conducted in Sakhir (Bahrain) in March, ten teams will participate in the presence, among other pilots, of Spanish David Vidales and Josep María Martífrom the Spanish team Campos Racing, said goodbye to the organization.
This start -up contest is aimed at young drivers who aspire to compete someday in the main Formula One category, as the first stage before moving to Formula 2.
The contest began in March in Bahrain with two races won by French drivers Isack Hadjar and Victor Martins.
The ten teams that make up the Formula 3 grid are Trident, Prema, Art Grand Prix, MP Motorsport, Charouz Racing System, Hitech Grand Prix, Campos Racing, Jenzer Motorsport, Carlin and Van Amrsfoort Racing.
Among those registered, the presence of Guatemalan with Colombian descent Brad Benavides, who drives for the Carlin team, also stands out.
The FIA F3 has nine exams scheduled during the season within the Formula One calendar in support of great prizes.
In Jerez, teams schedule four training sessions, at the rate of two per day.
After these tests, the Formula 3 grid will conduct a new test at the Barcelona circuit in two weeks.
