Gonzalo García has not missed his first ownership of Real Madrid due to the collapse of the MBAPPé for a flu process and marked 1-0 against Al Hilal in the main team of Xabi Alonso’s team at the Club World Cup. The Canterran was selected by the MVP of the match played in Miami and it was the first to face after a tie against the Saudi team.
“The game left us a bittersweet taste because we wanted success. We wanted to start with a great result but we tried and we fought it until the end,” said the Castilla striker.
“The rival has made a good game and we added a point that would definitely be positive for two missing matches in the group stage,” he continued. “The penalty is a shame, but we are all disappointed, the first one. I have occasions that may have ended on purpose. Fede is at least, I’m sure he’ll put the rest of the penalties I threw away,” Gonzalo said.
“It’s a shame not to win but we want to play the two missing games. For me it’s always been a privilege, I’ve been here since the young and for me it was the most. Having a goal in my first owner with the first team was completely incredible,” he said.
