Castro: “I had to complain in the last League; we can’t be hurt forever”

Date:

The president of Seville, José Castro, protested andstrong for what he considered an action that harmed his team. The penalty signaled by Del Cerró Grande against the Andalusians when Medina Cantalejo Liga warned before kick-off that “penalties” would not be called, leaving a trail of anger in Sevilla.

“I already had to complain last season and unfortunately on the first day, the first day, I had to complain again. There was a meeting with the referees to clarify the penalties and in first day there is a penalty. Then the referees will complain about the pressure, but what we cannot be forever are the injured”, said the supreme president in the official media of Sevilla.

“I think he is a great international referee. (From Cerro Grande), he was being a good referee, but he couldn’t make a penalty like that. Because this is what the referees keep saying, that they won’t give the penalties,” he continued.

However, he did not hide his team’s bad game: “That doesn’t mean we don’t see the game, We have to keep improving and create more opportunities. But that play is key. Today it is completely unfortunate.”

Castro assured that many more signatures will come: “We have to try to improve the team as much as we can. Two centrals left, one arrived without playing yet, but reinforcements are coming”.
