Jumbo-Visma has finally confirmed Roglic for the Vuelta

Date:

Jumbo-Visma has confirmed that Slovenian Primoz Roglic will definitely participate in the Vuelta a España which starts in Utrecht this Friday. As of this week, Jumbo-Visma has not decided whether the triple winner can start. After his severe crash in the Tour de France, it was not known for a long time whether the Slovenian would be able to start.

Less than two weeks ago, Roglic returned to training on the road for the first time. “The classic morning photo when you finally get back on the road,” Roglic posted on Instagram while cycling in the mountains of Monaco on August 4.

var x = document.createElement(‘script’);
x.setAttribute(“type”,”text/javascript”);
x.setAttribute(“src”, “//www.instagram.com/embed.js”);
x.setAttribute(“charset”, “utf-8”);
$(“.instagram-media”).closest( “span” ).append(x);
});

For Jumbo-Visma, it is very important that Roglic starts the Vuelta a España because the powerful Dutch formation does not have an outstanding leader to face the third of the great classics through the stages.

In the last Tour de France, Roglic fell on the pavés stage (the fifth) and lasted until the 15th stage when he retired with back problems. There was even talk of two broken vertebrae, but Jumbo-Visma did not confirm that.
