Spanish golfer Charlotte Ciganda Efe said on Tuesday that he hopes the wind “doesn’t complicate” his game in the tournament ‘Aramco Team Series’fvalid for the European Women’s Circuit and from this Thursday to Saturday will take place over three days at Sotogrande (Cadiz).
Ciganda said wind intensity influences the course of the club’s field “quite a bit”. The reserveas verified in the two rounds of skills he performed in his previous training.
The Spaniard admitted that he “loves” to play in Spain and expressed the desire to fight with the best. “Let’s see if I can go there,” he pointed out.
Among his opponents in this tournament, Ciganda emphasized the German Caroline Masonthe Swedish Anna Nordqvist or the americans Alison Lee and the sisters Nelly and Jessica Korda.
“To be a European tournament, the championship is very good”, highlighted the Spaniard referring to this competition that will host teams made up of four players, three professionals and one novice, with collective and individual titles which is at stake in a world tour of 54 holes.
Ciganda described his season with Efe as “uneven” and added that he wanted to have “a few cuts”, although he highlighted his third place in the ‘Amundi Evian Championship’ tournament, in addition to his success in last Spanish Open. “I want consistency in my game to be up every week,” he claimed.
This championship reaches the municipality of San Roque (Cádiz) after the tournaments in Bangkok (Thailand) and London (United Kingdom) and before passing through New York (United States) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
The Navarrese golfer described the San Roque venue as a “campazo”, which is in “perfect condition” with its fairways and the ‘greens’ and which, in his opinion, is distinguished by hosting a “fun” that tournament.
“The organization takes care of the players and does a very good job on the field and in the tents,” he insisted.
