fully electric and with the maximum technology. The Aiways design team used the flanks between the overhanging bodies at the front and rear of the vehicle to achieve a subtle muscular appearance. The dynamic design is also reflected at the rear, with its discreet spoiler and its stylized LED line that runs the entire width of the vehicle and continues the headlights. This rear spoiler integrated into the body not only serves as a sporty attribute, but also generates downward force on the rear axle at high speeds, ensuring driving stability.

The interior design of the Aiways U6 opens a new chapter in automotive design. Starting from the sense of space provided by the long wheelbase, Aiways designers have created a unique environment. In the new Aiways U6, the traditional dashboard has a purely decorative function. The central 14.6-inch screen appears to float freely in space, while the screen behind the wheel is used for cockpit instruments and flows seamlessly into the horizontal structure, further accentuating the sense of space. The driver and passenger are separated by a center console with wide armrest and closed compartments.

The absence of analog instruments is not only a

efficiency is the key to success. Achieving the best possible energy consumption is therefore the ultimate goal of Aiways’ research and development team in Jiading. The U6’s propulsion unit is based on that of the U5, which runs at 16,000 rpm, 25% higher than comparable units, and is smaller and lighter because less magnetically active material is used. Thanks to the use of ‘rare earth’ minerals, Aiways has managed to reduce the weight of this permanent magnet synchronous electric motor by 15%.

The increase in peak power and improvement in peak torque are immediately noticeable and help the vehicle to
best acceleration time in its segment, with an acceleration time to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. In addition to the dynamics, comfort has also been improved. A custom high-match gear reducer greatly reduces gear drive operating hum.

Special filtering strategies have also been developed to control the harmonics in the engine’s electrical circuit, which guarantee a significant reduction in the noise perceived by humans and thereby significantly increase driving comfort.
