Spanish drivers’ worst nightmares

Date:

Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, clowns… Yes, there are many fears that can bother people, but if there is one thing that every driver is more afraid of than
the girl with the curvegoes round and round looking for a hole as time goes by.

“I’m going to pick up the car and it’s not there. Luckily I was on the wrong floor…”, “I don’t remember which street I parked in and had to walk through the neighborhood” or “5 friends looking for a car that ‘appears’ to be parked 45 minutes later, of course, where I had parked it » These are just a few of
the anecdotes that can happen when you get behind the wheel, and that can be described as “driver’s worst nightmares”.

For example, 90% of those surveyed by Parclick say that one of their biggest fears is that they will be late for their plans because they are trying to find a parking space. Another remarkable fact is that most of the
situations that “frighten” us they surround other vehicles, and it’s that not everything about driving and parking depends on us. 46.7% of those surveyed fear that they will park and queue up behind them, while more than half of drivers fear that a “smart guy” will arrive and take away the space they had already seen.

Of course there are cases of all kinds. Another of our most common concerns is not getting
spull the car from the parking lot at pick up, either because space is very tight (47.4%) or because someone decided the best place to park was for our vehicle (52.6%).

About 10% of respondents indicated that:
go with kids and make them cry It is one of the most terrifying situations. Added to the stress of looking for a parking spot, which is already an arduous task, is the thrill of hearing the little ones cry as if the world were going to end.

In addition, we must not forget that when we pick up the car, we can take
unpleasant surprise. Evidence of this is that 56.8% of motorists said they feared their car would be scratched while parked, while 43.2% admitted they were afraid of being fined for returning their vehicle. .

While there are fears common to the vast majority, some of those surveyed by Parclick also surprised with original anecdotes that weren’t wasted, such as
run out of gas parking spacehave to ask for help parking on the street, find the car among wild boars or forget to apply the handbrake after parking on a slope.
