The MINI Cooper S Resolute Edition adds some mystery to its elegant appearance
The exclusive design and equipment of the Resolute Edition highlight the characteristic features of the MINI 3-door: expressive design, inspiring driving pleasure, superior quality and individual flair. From now on, the new Enigmatic Black exterior color with its mysterious appearance underlines the confident appearance of the MINI Cooper S in the Resolute Edition (combined fuel consumption: 6.2 – 5.8 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 141 – 133 g/ km according to WLTP).
The MINI 3-door is the original in the premium small car segment. The classic exterior concept of the MINI Cooper S underlines the Resolute Edition with a clear commitment to the historic roots of the brand. Typical MINI design elements such as the surrounds of the headlights, taillights and radiator grille, as well as the special stripes on the bonnet, are finished in Resolute Bronze and bear the lettering “Resolute”. The roof and mirror caps are optionally available in black or can provide an exciting contrast in Pepper White. The bodywork, standard in Rebel Green, can be changed to the special color Enigmatic Black.
Under the elegant bonnet lies the 2-litre four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology and a maximum output of 131 kW/178 hp with a maximum torque of 280 Nm. So equipped, the energetic MINI Cooper S in the Resolute Edition stands for traditional sportiness and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The maximum speed is reached at 235 km/h. The vehicle’s agile handling is supported by a six-speed manual transmission as standard or a seven-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission as an option.
Inside, the anthracite headliner is combined with the mysterious dark charm of the body paint. Matching sports seats in exclusive Black Pearl/Light fabric/leather finish, combined with black armrests and knee pads, provide stylish comfort. A nappa leather-wrapped sports steering wheel with edition badge on the lower spoke is standard on the Resolute Edition. On the black background, the parallel and evenly curved lines in a light golden hue form an original pattern with a special appearance.
