This platform cannot be downloaded on some TVs
The streaming platform HBO has all the seasons of the acclaimed series ‘Game of Thrones’. For this reason, many users want to contract HBO Max, but encountered a problem. This platform is widely used in Spain and can be downloaded to a large number of devices, but this is not the case with Amazon’s Fire TV, a range of television streaming devices. Certain apps can’t be downloaded on some TVs, so users turn to Fire TV.
Those who have not been able to install HBO Max on their television and have this tool should know that if they follow a series of steps, they can install this streaming platform without any problem using their Android mobile.
1. The first step to take is to download an application on your Fire TV and your Android that is used to transfer files from one device to another. Download the “Send Files to TV” application on your Fire TV and on your Android mobile.
2. Then download the APK of the HBO Max app for Android TV. To make it easier to manage the APKs you bring to the device later, it is recommended that you install a file explorer on the Fire TV, such as An Explorer.
3. Open the Send Files to TV app on mobile and Fire TV. Select “Send” on mobile and “Receive” on Fire TV. Thus, your mobile phone becomes a data transmitter and the TV set a receiver. Use the search engine on your mobile to choose the HBO Max APK and hit the submit button. The Fire TV receives the file and you download it to the device by sending it from your mobile over your home Wi-Fi.
4. When the file has been sent, you can exit this app on Fire TV and open the file explorer you installed. Go to the download folder of the device’s internal storage and click on the HBO Max APK and choose the ‘Install’ option when the menu opens to proceed with the installation on your device. You may need to give permission to install apps from unknown sources.
Once this process is complete, the application will be installed. It may crash occasionally as it’s not designed for Fire TVs, but overall it should work.
