From this school year, the new and expanded subject “Digital Primary Education” will become a compulsory subject for the 5th to 7th grade in Austria, for which there are also grades.
The new course deals with aspects such as media education and computer science. Internet expert Paul Beyer Klinkosch has developed and recorded a digital textbook (“SchuBu”).
Not an app, but a website
“However, the ‘SchuBu’ is not an app, but a separate website. This is designed to work equally well on smartphones, tablets, laptops and blackboards,” says the founder of “SchuBu”. After logging in, all content, worksheets, tasks and interactive games can be accessed easily and without complications.
