Armed with brass knuckles and wearing a balaclava, a 17-year-old left his bloody trail from St. Pölten to Linz: The violent criminal is said to have committed grievous thefts, bodily harm and theft.
The brutality displayed by a 17-year-old Mostviertler in his actions left no one indifferent during the trial at the regional court of St. Pölten. His mother had to accept this, sobbing loudly. From a brawl on a playground in St. Pölten to an aggressive burglary in Linz, the youth left a bloody trail behind him. His DNA and a cell phone video of the crime scene convicted the Chechens. His confession was then appeased.
The background: At the beginning of the year, he allegedly forced a boy to hand over his cell phone, cash and Airpods by punching him in the face. As “security”, he and his accomplices then photographed the victim’s ID card: “If you say anything, we’ll stab you,” the 17-year-old allegedly threatened the victim, who trembled and injured.
“I wanted a cell phone,” he said as a motive in the process. However, the brutal burglary would have been ordered: “We received 2,000 euros for it”, said the suspect, who traveled to Upper Austria with two accomplices. So far they haven’t seen any of the money.
Brutal robbery in apartment
The victims felt the full force of their brutality when the 17-year-old and his accomplices stormed the apartment in Linz on March 22. Draped in a t-shirt as a balaclava and armed with brass knuckles, the victim was repeatedly punched in the face and kicked while lying on the floor. In between, the apartment was searched for money, drugs and valuables before one of the three pulled a knife and held it to the slain victim’s throat. For the two friends of the victim who went along, it immediately rained blows and kicks with brass knuckles. In addition, there would have been a bat in the game.
Sentenced to two and a half years in prison
Only the loud screams forced the perpetrators – with 3300 euros in loot – to flee. The trio allegedly raged in the apartment for about 40 minutes. A mobile phone video taken by the suspect himself at the crime scene testifies to the violent scenes that may have taken place in the rooms. Even his lawyer was shocked by his young client’s willingness to use force. The 17-year-old was eventually sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
