A tractor vehicle crashed into a tree on the L205 between Wallern and Apetlon on Sunday morning. Eleven of the 16 occupants were injured.
The tug was on the L205 shortly before 6:30 a.m. Sunday when the military discovered it. Because the car with the Romanian license plate seemed suspicious to them, they gave chase. The driver noticed this and stepped on the gas. He came off the highway at high speed into a left turn and came to a head-on stop against a tree.
Total lockdown after accident
Eleven people were injured in the accident – one seriously, six moderately and four slightly. They have already been taken to nearby hospitals. Five people were unharmed. The road had to be closed and police are investigating.
