An employee of a food market on Hallerstrae in Innsbruck experienced a real shock on Friday afternoon. In the confrontation with a shoplifter, the man caught suddenly grabbed a gun. He was eventually able to escape.
At around 4.30 pm, the employee saw a suspected shoplifter who then wanted to leave the store. The goods security system was activated and the woman was able to confront the man. According to her statements, the thief pulled a gun from his jacket and fled.
Description of offender: Mediterranean type, full beard, black clothes and white shoes. The police immediately started a search in the area, but the result was negative.
