A festive airline declared an emergency on one of the two planes, forcing it to land immediately. Jet2’s Edinburgh service had previously flown from Alicante to Spain, but confirmed the incident while flying over Yorkshire Dallas.
An emergency was declared on Flight LS776 on April 7 with the Squawk code 7700, a label used to warn of air traffic control. BootingPixel wrote: “On Jet2 flight 737-800 LS776, an emergency was declared with the squawk code 7700, the cause is still unknown, but the aircraft is trying to approach Edinburgh Airport as quickly as possible and hopefully all is well on board, reports LeedsLive. .

Then the plane landed safely at Edinburgh Airport to receive the necessary assistance to the passenger. A Jet2 spokesperson said: “Customers on board require medical attention.”
