The adviser to the Ukrainian embassy in Spain has stressed that the accession procedures are illegal and has asked for more help to end the war as soon as possible.

Interviewed on Radio Euskadi’s “Boulevard”, the adviser to the Spanish Embassy in Ukraine, Dmytro Matiuschenkohas stated that the latter referendum performed in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine illegalalso assuring that “those hasty actions are signs of the” political vulnerability of Putin’s Kremlin”.
In this sense, Matiuschenko has emphasized that the adhesions to be declared by Russia “illegal acts” and that therefore “they must be punished”. Likewise, he has assured that with the Russian annexations, Ukraine’s advance on the front “will not change; we are moving forward more”. To do this, however, he has asked NATO and related governments to step up their commitment to the Ukrainian cause, at all levels. “We need more support, and the more support we have, the faster we will win. It’s a matter of collective effort,” he assured.
Asked for the nuclear threats What Russia has done in recent days has assured Matiuschenko that Ukraine is prepared for any development of the situation, although he assures that Russia is unlikely to use the nuclear submarine ‘K-329 Belgorod’. “Putin’s tactic is to scare governments, but it doesn’t work, and the more determined we all are against those threats, the faster we will be victorious.”
