The car of a pensioner from the Graz-Umwelt district rolled away in Zettling: when she tried to stop the car, she fell and got stuck between the vehicle and a stone. The 81-year-old died at the scene of the accident.
An 81-year-old stopped her car in Zettling (neighbourhood Graz-Environs) around 9:00 am on Thursday to let acquaintances in, but forgot to switch to the parking position in the machine. The car then started to move on its own.
Deadly trap: pensioner is stuck
The woman from the Graz area then tried to stop the car. For a moment she ran after him and then next to him and then unfortunately fell. Meanwhile, the car crashed into a large rock on the driver’s side – the 81-year-old was crushed between the rock and the car! All help came too late for the pensioner: she died at the scene of the accident!
