One person was killed in a serious rear-end collision on the Tyrolean Inntal motorway near Langkampfen (Kufstein district in Tyrol) on Thursday morning. The man may have overlooked the end of a traffic jam and collided with a truck.
Shortly after 8 a.m., the serious rear-end collision is said to have occurred in the lane towards Kufstein. According to “Krone” information, a motorist landed head-on on the back of a Bulgarian truck. As the Wörgl fire brigade announced, the man had to be cut from the car with the rescue scissors. At that point he was already dead.
