A 42-year-old allegedly held his acquaintance (28) for hours and beat him up in an apartment in Innsbruck. The police were eventually able to free the woman and arrest the alleged perpetrator. He denies the allegation, admitting only a “Watsch’n”.
Every woman’s nightmare should have come true for a Tyrolean (28) in an apartment in Innsbruck on Saturday. She was allegedly detained and tortured by a 42-year-old Moroccan, whom she has known for a year or two, “between 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. with great violence and also by dangerous threats,” the police said. “There were no sexual assaults,” a police officer emphasized in an interview with “Krone”.
Woman suffered broken ribs and bruises
The 28-year-old was able to contact her mother in a minute of inattention. This sounded the alarm and notified the police, who eventually broke into the apartment and arrested the man. The young woman suffered, among other things, a broken rib, multiple bruises and a concussion and was initially admitted to the Innsbruck clinic. However, she has since been released into home care.
Suspect denies brutal attack
Why it came to the alleged act, however, is completely puzzling. “The interrogations of the 28-year-old and the suspect have been completed. However, the background is still unclear, especially as the 42-year-old vehemently denies the allegation,” said the lead investigator. The man already known in the office only gave a “Watchch’n”.
Similar incident just before
According to the woman, a similar incident had already taken place two or three days earlier. “However, this was much less massive, which is why she has not filed a complaint,” the official said.
