Twitter chained – Elon Musk sows fear and terror on all floors

Date:

He fired half of the Twitter staff. Because advertisers jumped off him then, “Mighty Musk” now threatens breakaway companies.

He probably didn’t expect so much resistance. Just days after taking over the short message service Twitter, the company is in total chaos. The tech billionaire with the unconventional methods has not only caused fear and terror internally with the massive job losses: his latest actions are also causing concern among users and advertising customers.

Four Million Dollar Loss – Daily!
The result has been a drop in revenue as top-tier advertising clients such as Volkswagen and Pfizer want to put their ads on hold or even stop them altogether. That brings the company more than four million dollars in losses – every day.

Even Musk has to admit it hurts! The 51-year-old has already complained about the “massive drop in sales” and accused “activist groups” of putting pressure on advertising partners. The advertising business is by far Twitter’s main source of revenue, accounting for more than 90 percent of the group’s revenue. Musk’s solution: He threatens all advertisers who suspend advertising budgets with “thermonuclear naming and shaming.” The announcement follows a right-wing internet lobbyist’s suggestion to name the names so that a “counterboycott” could be invoked.

Ex-employees want to sue after being fired
About half of the 7,000 employees have received their resignation by e-mail in recent days. “It’s a very unusual process,” said Wendy Musell, a California employment law expert. In Silicon Valley, it’s unusual for tech companies to publicize layoffs like that for fear of negative publicity. But that’s exactly what “Mighty Musk” (German “Mighty Musk”) apparently doesn’t care about.

Many laid-off employees have already filed class action lawsuits for failing to receive the 60-day notice required by law. However, Musk is confident of victory: Once Twitter is on the right track, it will be much easier to manage than Tesla or SpaceX, he said at an investor conference.
