Threatened with knife – Graz: boys robbed in shopping center

Two unidentified youths on Saturday afternoon forced three boys aged 12 to 13 to hand over valuables by force and threatened them with a knife in Murpark in Graz. The investigation is underway.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. The three boys from Graz were approached by the strangers in the Murpark shopping center and asked to come out. There, in the emergency exit of the H&M branch, the perpetrators asked the children to empty their pockets. When a victim did not immediately comply with the request, one of the strangers initially threatened with physical violence and also held a knife in his hand.

Hit the victim in the face with a fist
One of the perpetrators hit a 13-year-old in the face with his fist, causing the boy to suffer minor injuries. The victims eventually handed the unknown perpetrators various objects, a bank card and change. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time. The manhunt and investigation into the unknown perpetrators, who may have been involved in more such acts, are ongoing.

Police have released a personal description of the two suspects:

  • Young, southern appearance, 150 to 160 cm tall, dark hair, very thin, wearing dark blue jeans at the time of the crime.
  • Youthful, 155-165 cm tall, braced, very corpulent stature, dressed in dark, probably Austrian, was addressed as “David”.
