A German (69) was hit hard with his car and trailer on the Inntalautobahn near Ebbs (Kufstein district in Tyrol) on Friday morning. He collided head-on with a Protecwand wedge and was seriously injured and taken to the BKH Kufstein.
A ride by the 69-year-old driver on the A12 in the west on Friday morning had nasty consequences. As police suspect, the man must have been momentarily careless around 11 a.m. and collided head-on with a ProTec wall wedge set up to separate the roadway.
Significant injuries
The man was seriously injured and was transported by ambulance to the Kreisziekenhuis Kufstein. The vehicle was badly damaged. There was moderate traffic disruption in the vicinity of the accident.
