Within just three hours, a group of four, masked in balaclavas, hit the streets of Vienna three times on Saturday night. The armed perpetrators attacked and robbed men in three districts.
The detectives apparently assume one and the same perpetrators, since the information of the victims of the raids is the same. The men between the ages of 23 and 35 were attacked by four male perpetrators. They were armed with a pistol and clubs, and also masked with balaclavas.
Crime scenes in three precincts
First they struck in the city park in the Landstraße district, the time of the crime was 1:45 am. Just half an hour later, around 2:15 am, the robbers Am Tabor (Leopoldstadt district) attacked their next victim, finally attacking their third victim at 4:45 am in Simmeringer Hauptstrasse in Simmering. Cash, a wallet and a mobile phone were stolen.
The investigation by the National Investigation Department is in full swing.
