A traffic accident in Köflach (Voitsberg district) ended Saturday night fatally for a 65-year-old Styrian. The driver veered off the roadway, causing the car to flip and land on the road below.
It was shortly before midnight when the 65-year-old from the Voitsberg district left the road with his vehicle in a right-hand bend. The vehicle then flipped over and came to rest alone in the street below.
All help came too late
The notified paramedics of the Red Cross tried to resuscitate the man. The emergency doctor who was also present was only able to determine the death of the 65-year-old. No other road users were involved in the accident.
