Large-scale action for the fire brigade on Monday evening in East Tyrol! For reasons still unknown, a fire broke out in the outbuildings of a farm in Oberlienz. The building burned to the foundations. Some animals could still be saved. However, most of the cattle and chickens died in the fire. people were not injured.
Shortly after midnight, the 43-year-old farmer was awakened by “cracking noises”. When he checked things out, he saw that the farm building on the west side of the farm was completely engulfed in flames! The farmer immediately made an emergency call and then brought his family to safety.
A big alarm went off in the neighborhood
It was no longer possible for the farmer to approach the farm building. “The alarm of the fire department has sounded for the Lienz district, “said the police.
