The accident happened around 7:20 p.m. The 25-year-old drove his car on the national road Achensee B181 from the Wiesing roundabout in the direction of Achensee. At the same time, the 67-year-old wanted to cross the street with his car coming from a supermarket. “The 67-year-old stated that he had not seen the 25-year-old’s vehicle and therefore did not stop at the stop sign,” police said.

He and his passenger of the same age had to be taken to Kufstein Hospital with injuries. Meanwhile, the 67-year-old suffered only minor abrasions to his right hand and was treated on the spot. There was serious damage to both vehicles.
