“Come on, get in my car, I’ll take you home!” A stranger addressing children in front of schools causes horror among families in the Mattersburg district of Burgenland. A boy (7) is said to have been immorally touched by the stranger on the street. The director immediately sent a warning to the parents.
The well-known incident with the boy would have taken place on Tuesday afternoon near the primary school in Forchtenstein. The seven-year-old was on her way home after class. Suddenly he was approached by a man.
Multiple incidents
Soon after, the stranger sexually harassed the boy – and fled. The terrifying attack set alarm bells ringing. “The police have announced that there have been several incidents in front of schools. Children were offered by strangers in the car to take them home,” the management immediately sent an urgent warning to families.
Parents were asked to discuss correct behavior with their child without frightening them. The school management advises not to send children to school alone for the time being, but to bring them to class or to pick them up in person.
In the case of the seven-year-old victim, the police are already targeting a suspect. A criminal investigation is underway. Details are not yet available.
17 year old assaulted
A new sexual assault has caused quite a stir on social media. At around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a few hours after the attack on the seven-year-old, a 17-year-old was allegedly sexually assaulted on the sports field in Siegendorf in the Eisenstadt district.
The perpetrator is about 30 years old with a three-day beard and long dark hair tied in a ponytail. His German was accentless, possibly Viennese dialect. The man drove off in a small black car. In this case, however, the police have not received a report at this time, the “Krone” reports when asked.
