European Parliament calls for access to Qatari representatives to be suspended until Catargate plot is resolved

The European Parliament wants suspend the access of Qatari representatives to the institution until the judicial investigation into the alleged bribery scheme, also known as the ‘Catargate’, is completed. The alleged corruption case has come to light alleged bribes from Qatar to Members of the European Parliament and staff of the European Parliament to gain political and economic weight, where the Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament have been affected, Eva Kaili, suspended this Tuesday.
