In Austria, 8,996 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Saturday). In the normal wards of hospitals, the occupancy rate fell by 102 places, the number of patients in intensive care by 14 places (160 patients in total). 17 people infected with the virus died.
So far there are 4,045,809 positive test results in Austria. On April 16 at 9:00 AM, 16,407 people with a SARS-CoV-2 infection died and 3,890,719 people recovered. There are currently 1994 people infected with the corona virus in hospital. Of these, 160 are in intensive care.
