It was around 2:17 am when the fire alarm went off in Reichenthal. Twelve fire brigades from the area were eventually deployed to extinguish the fire in a residential building. The fire broke out on the top floor of the house. When the emergency services arrived, the roof construction was completely on fire and the fire brigade carried out the extinguishing work. Then part of the ceiling of the upper floor collapsed, so that a house search could not be carried out until later.
cause unclear
After almost two hours, the first fire brigades drove back home. But: Friday morning there was still no trace of the owner of the house. A body was found just before noon. Whether it is the owner should be clarified by autopsy. The fire investigators of the police and the district fire command are currently looking for the cause of the devastating fire that destroyed the entire living area of the house. Just Tuesday, a farm in Reichraming went up in flames (as reported).
