There was a canned salad in Lustenau in Vorarlberg on Saturday: a driver pushed his car backwards and crashed into a bus. Fortunately, only minor injuries resulted. The material damage is likely to be greater.
At 1:20 p.m., a 79-year-old man backed his car from a driveway into the street on Lustenauer Flurstrasse on Saturday. He may have overlooked the approaching bus. A collision between the two vehicles could not be avoided.
Minor injuries
The 79-year-old was slightly injured in the shoulder and head in the crash, but everything else went smoothly. The man was quickly treated at Dornbirn hospital. The 30-year-old bus driver escaped unhurt. However, the same cannot be said of the vehicles: both the bus and the car were badly damaged in the accident.
