Grandson had tried to save grandfather
The grandson, 26, who also lives in the house, suffered burns of undetermined extent when he came to the aid of his grandfather and then took him outside. A neighbor (44), who had also come to their aid, may have suffered from smoke inhalation.
During the fire investigation, it turned out that the fire had broken out in the living room near the sofa bed – “probably due to careless handling of open fire or light”, according to the police. The extent of the material damage is unknown at this time.
